Today I’d like to review an original videogame available soon on PS4 : Absolute Drift<\/strong>. I’ve tested the game for a while on my Windows workstation, through Steam<\/strong>‘s platform. It’s an very original idea,\u00a0featuring a gameplay half way between casual gaming and simulation. The PC version is played using only your keyboard and an isometric view that makes the game a unique experience.<\/p>\n

You’ll be able to choose from a six car garage and some customization options. Be aware, you won’t have the huge range of options you have in Need for Speed<\/strong>. It’s all about changing the car color or graphics, using\u00a0flags or other simple geometric elements. You’ll start with a Toyota AE86 so the chances are that you won’t feel the need for other cars.<\/p>\n

Absolute Drift<\/strong> features different play modes, but they share a common element. You drive your car in white tinted minimalistic environments, where the white background will become the canvas where you are going to paint – litterally – your trajectories. The\u00a0driving’s phisics are developed with accuracy, but the handling is nearer to 4×4 then to a RWD car. Be carefull, the control is far from easy and this guarantees the games’ longevity. Besides classic clipping points – marked by white and red poles – you’ll have the chance to score more points by hitting red boxes which are spread through the driving area. On Steam<\/strong> the games \u00a0costs about\u00a07 \u20ac, that’s not really cheap but I think the is worth its cost.<\/p>\n
